USABILITY TOOLS
Usability solutions are designed to extend the capabilities of SharePoint to provide a more robust experience to SharePoint users. The usability solutions available through DataLan include:
AdLib Express Server: Automates the conversion of documents to PDF. For more information, contact sharepoint@datalan.com.
DataLan Page Tabs: Allows pages saved in team sites to be organized into a tab structure similar to the way they appear within meeting workspaces. Site managers can identify the document library containing the pages and specify an order that the tabs should appear. For more information, contact sharepoint@datalan.com.
DataLan Grouped Subsites: Allows subsites under a Windows SharePoint Services site to be presented in a grouped list based in information contained within the subsite. For more information, contact sharepoint@datalan.com.
Syntergy Cut/Copy/Paste: Provides document cut, copy, and paste capabilities within the standard views of SharePoint libraries. Cut/Copy/Paste integrates into the SharePoint document management interface and perserves version history owner and creation date information, and attribute details. DataLan Security Reporter: Allows administrators to generate HTML or comma separated (CSV) reports detailing the security rights make-up of SharePoint sites, lists and libraries within the SharePoint environment. ACCESS RESOURCES
Access resources are designed to enhance access to SharePoint environments by extending the SharePoint capabilities to better support distributed environments and remote and offline access. SharePoint access solutions available through DataLan include:
Syntergy Replicator: Provides asynchronous replication of SharePoint content between SharePoint sites within the same environment or across environments. Colligo Reader: Provides read-only access to SharePoint content offline, including documents and lists. For more information, contact sharepoint@datalan.com.
Colligo Contributor: Provides access to view, modify and create SharePoint content through a desktop interface while online or offline. Contributor is available in the following three configurations:
- Contributor Add-in for Outlook delivers instant access to SharePoint libraries and lists within Outlook. Content, such as emails and attachments, can be dragged and dropped into document libraries and folders.
- Contributor Client provides a consistent interface allowing for SharePoint content to be accessed, modified and created while online and offline. Changes made while offline are automatically synchronized to SharePoint when back online.
- Contributor Pro provides the capabilities of both the Add-in for Outlook and the standard Contributor Client.
