- Situation
- The company wanted to be able to graphically represent the status of various business processes supported by SharePoint-based applications. One area of interest was RFP response, where the standard SharePoint interface was cumbersome for individual trying to understand the status and timing of individual processes and overall responsiveness.
- Solution
- DataLan implemented Microsoft Silverlight technology to create a rich user interface enabling users to easily see where a given response was, whose work was due, and effectively predict when the response would be ready. Silverlight also enabled dynamic executive summary views.
