DataLan Corporation has been a Microsoft Certified Partner since the start of the Microsoft Partner program in 1994 and
a Gold Certified Partner since the inception of that designation in 2000. Gold Certified Partners represent the highest
level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies, and have the closest working relationship with Microsoft.
The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program provides a way for customers to identify companies that have proven their
commitment and expertise in one or more specialized areas when delivering Microsoft technologies. Microsoft Gold Certified
Partners need to meet a higher set of criteria for each category, including enhanced certification and a portfolio of

Custom Development Solutions
Designed for technology partners who provide custom-developed solutions to customers who require value-added capabilities to
optimize business and operational effectiveness. This competency is primarily for partners who develop with Microsoft Visual
Studio 2005, Visual Studio Tools for Office, SQL Server, Windows Server 2003, BizTalk, Windows Vista, and Office System 2007.

Designed for technology partners with proven competency in implementing Microsoft SQL Server solutions that feature data warehousing,

2005 - Grand Prize - International Connected Systems Developer Competition
Microsoft defines Connected Systems as systems that apply the power of software to enhance information exchange between people, processes,
and information technology and aligns technology assets and your business processes into a cohesive whole which enables deeper customer
connections, integrated partners, empowered employees, and faster time to market. The EPM Solution allows an organization to align their
mission, vision, and strategy with clearly defined metrics, goals, and ownership, by leveraging SQL 2005 and SharePoint.
The solution was chosen out of over 1400 entries from organizations as diverse as other solution providers, video game designers, ISV’s,
and builders of developer tools. Judging was based on Creativity/Innovation (30 points), Technical Excellence/Design (45 points), and
Usefulness of the entry/Value to the target audience (25 points).
