Microsoft SharePoint Architect
Location: White Plains, NY
Overall Summary / Purpose for this Position:
This permanent position will be to provide SharePoint and .NET Solution Architecture services to customers who are adopting a Microsoft SharePoint technology platform or further extending their existing SharePoint technology platform by implementing custom business solutions. This position focuses on providing design expertise for the implementation of SharePoint/.NET solutions. Other responsibilities include working as part of a technical lead of development team, collaborating with architects on development techniques, coordinating with QA to resolve defects. Some travel is required, for on-site development support for clients primarily in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience documenting technical approach via Visio diagrams and Design artifacts
- 2+ years of experience customizing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/SharePoint Server 2010; including using the SharePoint object model, SharePoint Designer, Workflows
- 3+ years of experience technical lead developing business solutions
- 5+ years of experience developing custom solutions using the Microsoft development platform with an emphasis on C#, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services
- 5+ years of experience integrating with Microsoft SQL Server through T-SQL, Stored Procedure, Database Design
- Experience with waterfall and agile implementation methodologies
- Experience working in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Possess leadership qualities
- Microsoft Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation UI Development a plus
- SQL Server Business Intelligence including Reporting Services, Data Marts and SSIS experience a plus

Microsoft SharePoint Consultant
Location: White Plains, NY
Overall Summary / Purpose for this Position:
This permanent position will be to provide SharePoint consulting services to customers who are adopting a Microsoft SharePoint technology platform or further extend their existing SharePoint technology platform. This position focuses on providing on-site consulting services to assist customers with SharePoint installation, configuration, support, environment management, and architecture planning needs. A significant portion of time is spent on-site at clients primarily in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years experience working with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS).
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Understanding and design of MOSS infrastructure elements.
- Experience designing, deploying and managing SharePoint farms.
- Experience designing, constructing, and managing MOSS sites. This includes experience with lists, libraries, web parts, site features, and security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce appropriate architecture, design and installation documents and the ability to effectively work with, advise and present to customers.
